Ten NOS athletes are in the elite field at Boulderthon on September 27 — men in the half marathon, women in the 5K — with entries comped by the race, fuel from Hammer Nutrition, and top-three incentives from Ultra K.
Nosotros is sending ten athletes to Boulderthon on Sunday, September 27 — the biggest team presence we’ve put on a start line since the club came back. All ten are in the elite field.
The men will race predominantly the half marathon, the women predominantly the 5K. Both run the same morning in downtown Boulder: the half goes off at 7:00 a.m. with the marathon, the 5K at 7:45. Start lists with specific athletes and events will be released soon.
Invited, not entered
Boulderthon’s elite program is invitation-only, with published standards of 1:10 in the half for men and 19:00 in the 5K for women. Our ten got the invite, and the race comped the entries. Last year the half was won in 1:06:32, with Olympic marathon bronze medalist Molly Seidel second. That’s the field we’re stepping into.
Now in its sixth year, Boulderthon has grown from 1,600 runners to more than 15,000. The 2026 course starts at 19th and Pearl and finishes on the Pearl Street Mall at 5,335 feet — more than two thousand feet of relief for a team that trains at 7,700 in Gunnison.
Fueled and backed
Hammer Nutrition fuels the squad. Ultra K has put financial incentives behind top-three finishes. Going into a race like this with a full team and real support behind it is new for us, and we intend to use it.
Start lists soon.
